Barbara J. Oliverio enjoys a career of more than 17 years of comprehensive marketing and public relations experience in
the technology arena, along with experience in product marketing,
training, and technical writing.
Barbara began her technology
marketing career at the Athens Messenger newspaper group in Athens,
Ohio, where she implemented the earliest cabletext news system
in the Eastern US. She then moved to Media Cybernetics, Inc.,
instrumental in merging the technical writing and marketing writing
teams. At Media Cybernetics, she was also a vital media liaison.
At FrontRange Solutions, developers of GoldMine, she was a key
player in the global marketing effort, managing such diverse
groups as marketing communications, events and the unique case
study and reference program. She maintained the agility necessary
to hone the corporate message in collateral as well as web content,
and was responsible for the content of marketing CDs. She exited
her career at FrontRange with public relations successes including
competent press tours that resulted in greater than 80%
hit rate. She also managed product reviews in mainstream
publications such as the Wall Street Journal and Investor’s
Business Daily, and facilitated five-star product reviews.
Her public relations and marketing savvy then contributed to
innovative process for product launch success at NeoCore, Inc.
Once again, her media relations know-how boosted product visibility
to near 90% hit rate.

led to more efficient product launches during her tenure at multi-product
distributor Alternative Technology, Inc. Barbara’s exceptional
